The one thing to know
People sometimes try to compare their policies, pricing or products with someone else’s, but everyone’s circumstances are different. Protection needs to be tailored to the individual.
The biggest myth
In 2025 we supported 100 claims, and £1,133,478 was paid out to our clients. Our Claims Report shows who claimed, what for, and how we helped from the first call to the final payout.
Where to start
Most people don’t realise how much they need protection until they’re faced with a situation where they need support.

I once worked with a client who didn’t have any sick pay, and English wasn’t his first language. He also had an excessive number of policies with another sales company.
Around two years later, he became unwell. The Income Protection we had put in place allowed him to continue with his life and provided valuable financial support when he needed it. That really showed me the difference that good advice and the right protection can make.

Rhys took the stress out of sorting mortgage protection. Clear advice, helpful, and actually enjoyable.
Rhys was brilliant. He took time to understand what I actually needed instead of jumping into quotes. He helped me find the right cover and gave advice like a friend would. Not rushed, not scripted - just real, human guidance.
Rhys really knows his stuff. He helped me compare providers, understand policy wording, and choose the right balance of cost and protection. Total pro.
I’ve been with Waddle for almost eight years. Before that, I was a Life Insurance adviser for a non-advised company.
I had seen what Waddle was doing from the start and really liked the way the business was changing people’s perspective on what insurance could be. I wanted to join an advised firm where I could be part of the full client journey, provide genuine advice and help improve people’s circumstances.
What makes Waddle different is the genuine care that everyone puts into their role, no matter what their position is. Everyone genuinely puts 100% into what they do.
Next, I want to keep working towards additional financial advice qualifications and continue developing my knowledge in other areas of advice.

Ron Weasley
Because like Ron, I’m the silent hero in the background that looks after the group. And also because I’m hilarious.
Rhys, in his own three words.
His go-to coffee order, three times a day.
Welsh and British. He also holds the Waddle record for the 100m sprint.

His go-to karaoke song, by Stereophonics.
He loves to spend his time with his partner, dog and family.
Something you’d never guess, and something he’s surprisingly competitive about.
He’d love to climb a mountain like Kilimanjaro, and to run a full marathon.
The ability to listen. You need to really understand what people are telling you, rather than simply throwing information at them. Good advice starts with listening.
Transparency. Clients should understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and how it could benefit them.
Putting a situation into reality for a client and helping them understand the importance and value of protection. I enjoy educating clients and helping them understand the potential implications for their family if they didn’t have the right protection in place.
Seeing what we do become a reality when a client needs to make a claim. When you see a claim being paid and understand how much that support is helping someone during their time of need, it shows the positive impact our advice can have on people’s lives.
It’s a really powerful way of seeing a positive customer outcome in real time.
Customers aren’t just numbers.
School cake.
